Priyanka's plan was not just to clean up the place but rehabilitate it.

She chose to clean up a slum area in Versova, Mumbai. This is where Priyanka came while shooting for her 2012 film Angeepath.

"I think the more they saw the changes that were taking place, the more comfortable they became. But I have to admit that most of us, me included, are apathetic to the filth around us," she said.
It was time to get down and dirty. Even the children of the area put on rubber gloves and participated.
