That became quite clear when one of the lawyers interviewed in a BBC 4 documentary “India’s Daughter” which retells the story of the Dec. 2012 fatal gang-rape in Delhi, said the following:
Yup, you read that right. A lawyer talking about one of the biggest and most brutal rape cases of our time, blamed women for rape, saying that they were "diamonds" which could be stolen if left in the street.
